PRINCIPLES

This decade’s defining principles

If you don’t remember any other principles, these would be the two to remember:

Human beings hate being sold but they love to buy.

  1. The buyer dictates the process, not the seller.

  2. It doesn’t matter what we as professionals want to do.

Whether we want to build relationships, tell stories, or hit numbers our real goal is to help buyers solve their problems as simply and effectively as possible.

Don’t get confused between the stuff we do (activities) and the goal of those activities.

TACTICS

6 ways AI can help you keep up

Partnerships doesn’t have the same team size or budget as other teams like Sales and Marketing.

Yet, they’re still expected to generate revenue and contribute to marketing, sales, and CS success.

Rob Rebholz, CEO of Superglue, outlined 6 ways AI can help you in your daily routine:

1. Find the right vendors faster and easier.

Smart chat prompts, using advanced technology, make it simple for partners to discover vendors and evaluate potential partnership opportunities.

2. Change how partners and vendors create demand.

With AI generating personalized marketing materials and handling distribution, partners, and vendors can better generate and take advantage of the demand.

3. Generate leads.

AI features like Reveal’s Lead Gen AI facilitate lead generation by providing instant insights and data-driven suggestions, enabling partners and vendors to identify and pursue highly qualified leads efficiently.

4. Onboard and nurture partners.

AI streamlines partner activation workflows by identifying whom to engage, when to engage, and the required enablement based on the opportunity stage. It easily categorizes and addresses touchpoints by partner type, tier, and contact role.

5. Close deals.

AI aids in closing deals by offering real-time insights and guidance through chat prompts, enhancing the effectiveness of sales, customer success, and partner management activities during the sales process.

6. Support and growth.

Post-sale, AI enhances customer and partner support by providing access to materials and personalized assistance through chatbots, thereby improving user experiences and creating additional opportunities for upselling and expansion.

ECOSYSTEM BREAKDOWN

Nvidia’s growth = partnerships

Roman Kirsanov (Founder and CEO of Partner Insight) has an awesome newsletter called Partner Insight.

Recently he wrote about Nvidia’s growth and how partnerships played a massive role in that growth.

He highlighted a quote from CEO Jensen Huang, sharing that Nvidia believes it’s important to connect customers with partners.

We have an excellent ecosystem with OEMs, ODMs, CSPs and, very importantly, end markets. What NVIDIA is really unique about is that we bring …our partners, CSPs and OEMs, we bring them customers.
