We’ve moved from the ’How’ to the ’Who’ economy. Buyers are overwhelmed with answers to, "how do I solve X" questions, so they are asking, "who can I trust to help me solve X" instead.

My wife and I literally did the opposite of what our realtor recommended — because she was not trying to get to the same place we were! Our realtor’s preferences and priorities were way too different from ours.

Buyers don’t care much for your 4.7 star rating. They do care WHO recommends you.

They’re looking for people who have been to the place they want to go. That’s who is influencing most of the 28 moments along the buyer journey that Jay McBain talks about.

You need to partner with those people your customers already trust.
